LET'S TELL A STORY (STORY CARDS)

SUPER FUN GAME that requires great impro skills!

We would all agree that kids love hearing stories. What's better than getting them involved in the creative process? Have a look at this game:

All you need are some cards depicting random objects, a dice and a bag. If you have some basic sewing skills you can decorate it just as I did 🪡🧵

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Get a volunteer to roll the dice 🎲

2. Get as many cards as the dice showed. To make it even more random, you can mix the cards and get the students to say "stop" every time you deal a card.

3. "Go with the flow". Start making up a nice story matching the random objects that are depicted in the cards.

With younger kids you can be the one telling the whole story, though you can ask your kids some random facts to make it more appealing to them, such as the name of the character, and offer two different options of how the story can continue...

If you are going to try it with older kids, they can take turns to tell the story!
